Sheffield Cycling 4 is a all-ability cycling sessions give people with disabilities the opportunity to ride a wide array of adapted trikes in the safe surroundings of the city’s Hillsborough Park.

We cater for people with various difficulties and disabilities, who might not have the balance or strength to ride a normal bicycle.

The sessions are run by a trained cycle instructor, but rely on the support of a range of volunteers to help deliver the sessions.

Self Advocacy

People on Zoom

Sheffield Voices is a self advocacy service that brings together people within our community to strengthen our voice.

This is a free service for anyone with a learning disability who wants to come together to have a say in matters that affect our lives.

We meet on a Tuesday and Thursday morning 11-12pm on Zoom.

We work with national groups and local councils, health services and universities to create a more inclusive society.

The Police comes to Sheffield Voices

South Yorkshire Police and their logo

Today South Yorkshire Police Neighbourhoods Inspectors for Sheffield City Centre and Mark Toyne our new hate crime coordinator, came to our meeting to listen to our concerns about how unsafe people with a learning disability are feeling in the town centre at the moment. We have noticed that there has been an increased number of people on the streets begging, drunk and using drugs and people in our group have reported to us that they are not feeling very safe.
